I've recently gained an affinity for Citi points after ignoring them for a long time.
after my recent citi premier approval i still had the itch and the Custom Cash is an awesome card with the personalized automatic 5x category which they advertise as "cash back" but really comes in thank you points. Couldn't resist the 20k thank you pt sign up bonus for the no annual fee card so I pulled the trigger and instant approval!
Only 2.9k SL but I PIF and don't plan to put more than 500 a month on the card typically to max out the bonus category. Citi has also typically been generous with the CLIs.
No interest introductory period and 20K PT SUB for 750 spend!
i have the Premier SUB that I'm working on also so my plan is just to put restaurant spending on here to max out the category and hit the SUB and then everything else on my Premier until I hit that SUB. Pretty sweet way to get about 110k TYP in 3 months.
