what's special about the Diners Club card, besides the skyhigh limit?
This...as well as Diners Club replacing some cards that I plan to close down/consolidate.
And for me, it's a bit of nostalgia of sorts. I know that shouldn't be a reason to apply, at least not the only reason. Waaaaaaay back in the day, in the mid 70s, my first credit card was a Carte Blanche card, the companion card to Diners Club. Getting the CB card was the primary reason that I got an AMEX Green card afterward, and with those two cards, that's when my credit journey began.
You might want to hold off for a bit putting DC in your calculations ... got a funny feeling that's these massive credit limits might be pulled back some. Congrats on the 50k!
Thats fantastic!!!!!

Yup. While it's an awesome situation, it's definitely more than I expected. I was figuring $15K, maybe $20K at most. And truthfully, I'd be fine with half at $50K!
congrats
