Just closed on a home yesterday and decided to go on a spree - applied for a car loan first (approved, but will add to the auto section)
Applied for the following cards:
Navy Federal Visa Signature go rewards - $25,000 @8.99Apr (woohoo) (submitted prequal first)
I also requested a cli on my other card which was secured - pending confirmation
BB&T spectrum cash reward $4500 (submitted pre-qual first)
Amex Delta Skymiles® Gold $1000 (submitted pre-qual first)
Home Depot $500 (submitted pre-qual first)
Discover it $11500 (submitted prequal first
PenFed $1500
Did prequal for Chase, but received no offers.
Attempted to Capitol One prequal, but receive system error-didn't attempt to try again and didn't receive an inquiry hit.
I think the spree went pretty well - back to the garden I go! This forum has definitely helped me out a great deal!!
FYI - I applied same day as closing after I received confirmation of loan being funded. I also applied immediately after car loan was approved.
