Today I asked for an increase on my Apple
Card and was granted a $2000 increase! I had been stuck for a little bit after merging my card with my wife's card back in July 2021.
Since merging each CLI request had been denied for recently being increased. After speaking with a rep from Goldman Sachs I learned they treat joint account mergers as a limit increase. They recommend waiting 6 months after merging for a limit increase. Regular Apple Card accounts can just wait 91 days though.
It's now been 6 months since we merged, and has been 8 months since my last limit increase on the card. I usually pay in full each month, the exception when I have an Apple product installment. Currently have a MacBook Pro installment which is 50% paid off. The balance was using 25% of my previous limit.
