Earlier tonight, I was approved for $1500 with a 21.99% APR which I accepted. I was pretty surprised, I've been trying every three months for the heck of it and really didn't expect them to say yes since I'm just barely past two years post file bk (wasn't discharged until July 2019). With the exception of my Navy Fed CU card (18%), it's the lowest APR I have now. My FICO 8 bankcard scores as of today are EQ 699, TU 684, and EX 665, while 9 Bankcards are 693, 687, and 693 in same order. My regular 8 scores are 684, 670, and 667. EX tends to be lower due to a different AAoA, as the other two still count two cards I was on AU with a long time ago for utilization & age. My utilization is 10%. ETA: they pulled TU.
This will be my last card for a while, but I will definitely find it useful as I use Apple Pay a lot. Just wanted to share since I figured I'd have to wait longer because of my bk!
Congratulations on your approval! ...

@wantitgone, When your Navy Federal card hits (1) year old,
you can send a secure message or call and see if you qualify for a lower APR?
I have personally done it twice. 9.65% and 5.99% ...
@M_Smart007 nice! I didn't know you could do that. My card will be 2 years from them soon, so I will give that a shot & see what happens. Thanks for letting me know (although I always tend to pay off the balance anyway, of course)!

Congratulations on your pretty addition of the Apple 🍎 Card to your wallet. Nicely done. 🥳🥳🥳
Thank you also for citing so many DP details so others in the Credit Rebuilding Journey can benefit from your experience, learning, and breadcrumb trail. 🙏🏻

@wantitgone, You can also request a SP CLI on the NFCU website or cell phone app.
(Just do not ask over the phone with a CSR, or it could be a HP)
Good Luck
Congratulations on your Apple Card approval!
