Thanks all. Three days later, and no hard pull has shown up and I've got the TransUnion app, and keep generating a new report each day. At this point, I'm pretty sure they are not coming back and putting a HP on my record. I don't know how that happened, but I'll take it.
Congratulations on your approval! Enjoy that new card!
Grats!!!
Congrats !!

Apple Card does things differently. They give you approval (or denial) from a soft pull. After the approval, you need to accept it. That is when you get the hard pull. Have you accepted the offer? I didn't see anywhere in this thread where you mentioned that, so I'm curious. Maybe the process is not yet complete.
By the way, the Apple Card, meaning the card itself, is by far the coolest credit card I have. It gives an impressive "clank" when dropped on a hard surface. ![]()

Great question! I did accept it, 4 days ago. The card is actually on the way to me and the credit line is open and available for use.
So I'm thinking that I got away with just a soft pull this time.
I had the same thing happen to me in Aug!!! Unlocked TU after I accepted and immediately locked it back thinking it would be an instant pull. Received a later notification that an attempted pull was blocked. Have the card and love it! Got a cli after the first month. Yay us.
That's great! Congratulations! Do you mind if I ask a question?
How much spend did you put on it during the first month, and was it a soft pull at that point? How much of an increase did they give you?

Congrats to you too for your Apple Card approval!
How did you got a CLI; was it automatic, did you req'd via app or website, did you called in?
