I applied for the Apple card 1/2 hour ago and a few minutes ago I got the approval email with a starting limit of $6000 so, I accepted considering I'm only 3 years post BK7. I've heard that apple was horrible with low starting limits and I figured if it's low I just won't accept and not take a hard pull but, $6000 is pretty good in my eyes so, I took it. I've worked really hard since my BK discharge to build my credit back up and it looks like it's been paying off. I just wanted to let others know that apple doesn't always start low so, no complaints here ! ![]()
Congratulations on your new Apple card Approval!
Congrats on your Apple Card approval.
Congratulations on your Apple approval!!
Congrats on your approval!
Awesome & Congrats! Can you share data points? Which CB did they pull and your score at the time of app?
@Bippy_33 Congrats on your approval and yes that is a great SL! Do you mind sharing some data points such as your current credit scores? Any information you can provide will definitely be helpful for others in making their decisions.
The weird thing about this is, I got a notice from Transunion & Credit Karma letting me know that someone ( Apple ) attempted to pull my report but, they blocked the hard inquiry yet, I still got approved for the $6000.00 It was 2 hours later that I got the notification so, I logged into TU and it shows no hard pull. I wonder if I got lucky and had the rare gem of not getting hit with a HP ?? I can only hope. I didn't lock my report until 2 hours after the approval.
