Hey all,
After letting my Apple Card offer sit for about a week or so, I finally went ahead and pulled the trigger on it with the "Accept" button. For a while, they had been offering $1500 SL with 15.99% APR. When I tried a week ago, it had went up to $6000 SL and the same APR. I gave it a bit of thought, though, before accepting. Given I'll be getting quite a few accessories for my new iPad Pro when it arrives, as well as probably either upgrading my phone or considering one of the next Macbooks, I figured this would be a good way to either rack up some extra cash or enjoy 0% financing without continuing hit my Best Buy card every few months.
This is also a nice addition since Synch closed my Sony card with them. It was only a $2400 limit, so this adds that back and then some extra. Helps keep the utilization down, as only my Best Buy card is the one that carries a balance.
A few DPs. They pulled my TU (soft pull so far, but the freeze lift has expired) at 804. My reported income was $60,000. And my utilization is at 2%.
For reference, after accepting, they asked if I wanted to add it to my Apple Wallet and set it as the default. Then they asked if I wanted a physical card. (Heck yeah, I love the look!) Then it was done. It's been added and Apple has already sent me lots of email from welcomes to when my card will arrive.
I think this will be it. I was holding out for the NHL Discover card, but they have yet to add the Seattle Kraken. Discover has no idea when they will do it. Oh well, maybe one day down the road they will and I'll go for it. Aside from that, nothing out there that I really need at the moment. Looking forward to some Apple goodies though.
Any tips or advice you have with them, feel free to share. I always like learning! Have a great weekend!!!! ![]()
Congratulations on your Apple Card approval!
Ask for a CLI in 91 days. This card is known for being a good grower with regular use. Mine started with a $250 SL in 2019 and is now at $8K.

Oh wow, that's awesome. Congrats on the success.
Looks like 91 days would be Friday, August 13th. Think I could go for 92 for luck? HAHA Also, they are SPs, right?
