Apple Card CLI

Hello everyone!

I finally pulled the trigger on requesting a CLI on my Apple Card after my FICO score went up substantially from all of my baddies dropping off. Sadly enough they only increased my credit limit by $250. Not quite what I had been hoping for. They don't seem to like increasing it by much or they might just have a problem with me.

Every little bit helps. Congratulations on your 🍏 CLI! 🥳🥳

Re: Apple Card CLI

Hey Navaster,

The easiest way that I've found you can get an increase with the apple card is to max it out, and pay it off one day before the the statement cuts.

You have a few cards listed.. I would put 100% of my spend on the apple card for a couple of months.. Rather than spreading your spend around to 6-7 cards, use one.  Put a small charge on your other cards to keep them active.

Im not sure how much you run through your cards every month.. but focus on one at a time when you want to increase it's limit. Use it heavily, pay it off mid month if you've reached your limit and run it up again.

This has worked for me,

Good luck

Thanks for your suggestion! I am currently traveling abroad, but I will be back home in a few months. I will give your suggestion a try when I am back and need to spend some money. Smiley Happy

Congrats on your 🍎 limit being increased🎉 As an aside, regardless of how "small" it is, ALL bumps matter. Smiley Wink

Congratulations on your CLI!!

I get denied for CLIs with my Apple Card because I don't use it much.  This is one lender where spend matters.

Re: Apple Card CLI

GS is such a weird, finicky bank. I applied for the card in February when my TU08 score was about 665 and got a $6,000 SL. I did have two HY savings accounts with them but I don't think I had more than $100 combined in the accounts when I applied. Not complaining though, obviously. I just don't know what the secret sauce is.
