Grats on finally getting it, you could have a higher Fico with one card reporting a small balance, all at 0 can cost 8-20+ points.
I did something similar. Had moved and my license expired during the shutdown so I couldn't renew. Finally got a ne license when motor vehicles opened back up. Applied and was offered $1500 SL. I turned it down. Not worth leaving the garde for. I'll wait until my scores are higher and try again.

In all fairness though if your drivers license doesn't match that's a red flag and rightfully so. I am glad they are verfication sticklers so much fraud out there .
