Congratulations on your Apple Card approval!
OP,
Congratulations on your progress! I have been following your journey and I must say, you have done a fantastic job, hope you enjoy your apple card the same way I do, for me is a great card.

Thanks! It's been a long 6+ years and I'm ready to put the Ch 13 behind me. The rebuild is complete... just waiting these last few months for the last baddies to fall off the report.
Now that I have the Apple card I really don't have anything else on the radar. Everything else I want (like Chase/Citi/BoA) requires a better profile so I'm just gonna sit in the garden and wait for the NFCU love to come my way!
Thanks for all the replies! Really happy I got this card!
Congrats.
I saw your previous posts about trying to obtain the card. Great to see you've gotten in with Apple 😊

I was approved for the Path to Apple Card a month ago... but was advised to try the SCT so I just did. The girl wants a $600 iPad but I put a $1900 iPad Pro in the cart and was approved for $1500... so I then swapped to the $600 iPad.
Happy wife Happy life. She's happy.... I'm happy. Plan on going for a CLI after the last of my 2017 baddies fall off later this year.
Current TU FICO is 657.
Congratulations. You were approved for Apple Card. As a result, you have been unenrolled from Path to Apple Card.
The monthly credit monitoring required for the Path to Apple Card program did not negatively impact your credit score.
If you have questions, please call 1-877-255-5923 to speak with an Apple Card Specialist.
Thank you for applying for Apple Card.
Your approved credit line from Goldman Sachs Bank USA is $1,500.00.
Your total purchase is $2,146.70. Unfortunately, your Apple Card isn’t enough to cover your purchase.
To continue with this purchase, you can choose a different payment method. Or if you’d like to continue with Apple Card Monthly Installments, you can try to:
- Add a trade-in
- Reconfigure your item
- Remove other items
If you don’t complete this purchase today, your Apple Card offer will be saved for 30 days at checkout and also in the Wallet app. Your application did not affect your credit score.
Congrats on the approval! CLIs are a SP, so you don't have to wait for the baddies to fall off to request CLI, you can request before then too (Honestly, you can request after each payment clears or your score/TU report improves).
Congrats on your Apple approval!!!

Thanks for the tip! TU should be seeing a massive score improvement in July when the baddies drop... will go for the CLI then!
