So I applied for 10 cards this past month. 3 of them are via the shopping cart trick and should be soft pulls (VS, Loft, Overstock). 1 was denied and is being reprocessed. 2 are pending.
For the SCT I wasn't able to get the pop-up for the main ones I want such as Walmart, IKEA, Lowe's, Best Buy. Maybe next time.
Reason for trying the SCT is because I just found out about it today through the forum and wanted it give it a try. Needless to say, it does work!
1 TD Cash - 14k
2 Discover IT - 4.2k
3 USBank Cash+ - TBD
4 Target REDcard - 500
5 Victoria's Secret Angel - 1k
6 Overstock - 7k
7 LOVE LOFT - 250
8 CapitalOne VentureOne - Denied/Reprocessing
9 PenFed Platinum Visa - Pending
10 PenFed Pathfinder AMEX - Pending
I'm trying a long term strategy to have a larger base of cards that will age over time. Will keep every card active. I'm thinking of it as a short term hit in return for long term benefits as AAoA will remain relatively high even when churning. I figured I'd try different strategies that I've read here on the forum while I have a credit score that can take the temporary hit. Hopefully Comenity doesn't close the cards yikes! And thank you!

Those cards you mentioned (Walmart, Lowe’s, Best Buy) are not SCT cards. They are not Comenity cards.
Based on the DoC link below and some other websites, I have seen people successfully get the popup for Walmart and Lowe's despite them being from Synchrony. I haven't seen anyone get the popup for Wells Fargo's Kirkland and Dillard's yet.
After being warned by others on this thread, I did some further digging and found people getting their accounts shut down completely by Comenity for various reasons including opening too many at once, or having too many. I'm wondering if it may also be due to a mixture of too high of utilization, lack of sufficient overall credit history, and too thin of a file, because I've seen others on this forum commenting about how they have 8-10+ Comenity cards for years without issue. I may leave it at 4 or 5 Comenity cards at the maximum to be on the safer side but will wait at least another 6 months before trying for more and use the approved cards at least once a month to show activity.
Sidenote: Does "DR" stand for "dear wife"? I've seen a number of people refer to their female significant other with that acronym and dear wife is the only thing I can think of that would fit the bill. Thanks

Congrats! That is quite a spree. Nice limits too.
