My thoughts exactly. If your online profile states "member since 2013", then you stand a good chance for backdating.

Yes, but in this case it wasn't quite the first Amex, the fact that the OP was an AU on another card makes Jan the better date.

I applied for the Amex PRG just now and was instantly approved.

Trying to decide now if I should apply for a revolver and which one.

I am tempted, but can't see myself meeting the $5k minimum spend for the SPG as well as $2k PRG and $3k CSP(prefer this for the no FTF). 

I'm considering the BCE...but can't make a decision.

Also, just to clarify, the single HP is only if denied correct? If I apply for a revolver and am approved, it will still be a second HP?

You might be lucky with one hp if done the same day.
