Congrats. $1500 is actually pretty decent with Discover. I started with 1000 and got an CLI with no HP in about 6-7 months.
Discover customer service is best I have ever seen. The call gets to a real person in the US in less than 2 minutes (the system tells you in which state is the call center are they connecting you to). The executives are polite and understanding.
I even had a time when I had a fraud on my Discover card it took just about 7 minutes from the time I called up to the point when the issue was resolved. They even sent me a new card overnight (saturday delivery) for free.
