Approved Chase Prime Visa (IIB / BK13) Surprised!

I haven't app'd for any new CC's well over a year and was up late this evening looking at drones decided to get risky.  Played with the Amazon prequalify tool and this time it said "you're prequalified" which was a first for me in a long time.  Click-Click-Click...yada, yada, yada Approved for $12,000 for Chase Prime Visa Signature @ 24.49% (not great but not dissappointed since i PIF).  I did miss having Amazon at my side before BK happened, i'm glad my forever bank Chase is showing me some love.  Maybe Saphire will be possible.

I burned Chase in my BK13 over 8yrs ago for just about $10K and I'm way over the 5/24 rule.

Yes, a Sapphire is definitely in your future.  I also burned Chase in my 2015 Chapter 13 for north of ten-grand; they let me back in last December with a CSP with a SL of $11,700 and then a few weeks ago dropped a Freedom Unlimited on my with a limit of $23,600.  In your shoes, I'd let some of those HPs fall off and they ask for a Sapphire.

Chapter 13:

  • Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank (now Bank of Southern California)
  • Filed: 26-Feb-2015
  • MoC: 01-Mar-2015
  • 1st Payment (posted): 23-Mar-2015
  • Last Payment (posted): 07-Feb-2020
  • Discharged: 04-Mar-2020
  • Closed: 23-Jun-2020

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

@HorseshoezHey Man long time, I see you're doing well post BK13 my friend.  I do agree to let some INQs drop off, I racked them up this year car shopping for myself and daughter across a few CUs for rate comparisons.  CSP and Freedom unlimited is a sweeet 1-2 combo congrats, if and when I get these two I will consider myself done with credit card consumption and focus on reaching 800 club (not too far away).

Congratulations on your post-BK13 approval!  Great SL too.

Garden for a year or two to let inquiries fall off and accounts age and you should have no trouble getting a Sapphire if you want.

Formerly CreditMarathoner. Cards: BoA CCR MC $8,000 / Chase Amazon Prime VS $3,000 / Chase Freedom Unlimited VS $5,000 / Chase Sapphire Preferred VS $12,000 / Elan Sharonview FCU Max Cash Preferred VS $23,500 / TCL $51,500

Glad to see you're prospering!  Like you I got dinged for a few HPs over the last year, new car and a couple of new cards; next year will most likely see me buying a new home so hopefully most, if not all of my current HPs will be a year old.
