Re: Inspirus Visa Sig- any intel on this card? UPDATE

UPDATE::: Dps for the patient & brave that dare to join.

Oh my GOSH!!!

I don't even know where to start with these people..

Shock and AWE!

The 8% is nice but you are gonna WORK FOR IT!

I app'd online, Sat night..

First things first: Funding, I used my NFCU card (you can only fund $100. for each of checking & saving with a cc)

Somehow the digits got messed up when they MANUALLY took the info from the online app & entered it into the database on Mon morning both transactions DECLINED.

I called NFCU- they said wrong sec code.

I called Inspirus- they re-entered info, properly, went through fine.

My funding went through via Navy but both accts on Inspirus site bal=  -5. (neg) so hopefully that will catch up.

To get my online docs to sign I went through the ID verification process, ok passed.

Then they inform me THEY DID PULL MY CREDIT! HP! EX (my lowest score thanks Affirm)

I had called and asked 3 times- rep said NOPE we only HP for credit products.

The guy this morning said rep was wrong! He apologized but the damage was done.

Soooo long story short,, errrr,, still long; I expressed my irritation & said; fine transfer me to apply for cc (they use same HP for 30 days).

Within 30 seconds, lending said; "What limit do you want? " I was a bit shocked and blurted out without thinking; $10,000. She said: "ok, no problem."

Wow Thanks,, however, now more docs to sign and the ID process AGAIN!

One of the addresses they asked about, I thought seemed familiar but selected; n/a as I just couldn't recall.

Whelp- I failed this time. Now realizing that address is one I lived at when I was 16!!!  I'm now 50 FFS!

I have a good memory but I'm not a freaking elephant

I have to call AGAIN, call number 4 now for Mon, 7 total..

They resend the docs with an access code to get in- Thank YOU!

Bottom Line: I got the $10,000 SL I asked for at 10.75%  which is awesome!!  Should've asked for $20,000 LOL

I have the accounts and will set up a small direct dep so will earn 8% up to $500 on each. Yay!

The sign up process is clunky at best. the ID verification is abysmal.

The reps are super nice but the evening folks are uninformed so talk to the day shift!

It IS a HP to join (EX for me) but they reuse for 30 days, best to call for any credit apps to guarantee reuse.

Now I need a whiskey and a cigarette.. Funny thing is: I don't drink alcohol or smokeFacepalm.gif

Wow.

They probaby pulled CR because the identity verification failed.  I have had issues in the past like this, because one of the CRs (EX I think) lists an address I have never lived at (when I disputed they did not remove the address, only added a note that I claimed it was wrong.)

Congrats on the high SL, low APR 2% card!

Congratulations on (finally!) getting in with Inspirus and that great SL! I really empathized with this portion of your struggle bc I'm only 30, but I've lived at so many freaking addresses between 16 and 26 that those verification questions are always the storied Sphinx's riddle lol

Do you know how to redeem your cashback rewards?  Is it only for a statement credit?
