Sorry the CL isn't very useful for you.
Maybe you could have some luck combining CLs, but don't think they're doing that anymore.
Congrats anyway though.

CLI requests at 91/3 and 6 months have never been denied or countered for less than requested
It'll happen.....
Congratulations on your NFCU approval!! 👏🏼🎉🍾
@WhiteCollar as CC mentions here about the CLIs, after 3 months you have a very good chance of picking up another 8K, so you can look forward to that.
Thanks everyone for the congrats and advice/comments! I did a recon on the starting CL and it was bumped up to $5.5k, again not what I expected but still grateful. I plan to inquire about reallocating and I'll request a CLI in 91 days. The plan for the card is to soley be used for BTs only so my goal is accomplished! 5.99% is pretty darn great in my opinion. Off to the garden I go!

That's great news, glad the recon helped out some.

That's excellent! Much better than the original limit.

Congrats on your approval! I've been thinking about product changing my cash rewards to platinum. The $43,500 total limit navy has given me is over half of my income so I don't think a third card would have a high limit. Anyone ever product changed with them before? My cash rewards has their lowest rate. Would I keep the lowest tier on product change or would it potentially be higher?

My lowest rate is 9.65% on the Flagship which is the lowest rate available. My rate (outside of the BT offer of 5.99%) is 10.99% for the platinum. Bummed that I did not get the lowest rate but given this card will soley be used for BTs it's not a deal breaker.
You should only be concern with the rate if you carry balances.

I'm not carrying anything I can't pay off (0% intros) but I'm trying to future proof and since I got flagship, cash rewards isn't all that useful.
