Hello everyone! Just wanted to come back and thank everyone once again for offering their advice and support in helping me to establish a strong credit profile! My 61 days since activation for my Amex BCP was on April 1, however I waited until today to apply for the CLI because I wanted to pay the remaining balance down to $0. Sure enough I received the automatic approval for the full 3X CLI (from $2000 to $6000).
This is now my largest CL card! I'm so excited because now I think I have a chance at being approved for the Chase Sapphire Preferred which is my final dream card (my report shows that my Amex BCP has a $6k CL and that it's been open since January 2012 even though I just opened it this January - I love backdating!).
I think I'm going to wait until the end of the month until I pay my Chase statement to apply for the Chase Sapphire Preferred. Fingers crossed and wish me luck! Thanks everyone and good luck to your credit endeavors as well!

I'm doing the exact opposite...lol. I will app for the BCP and wait the 61-days for the 3x cli. That will hopefully give the $5k limit needed to get the CSP. And congrats to the OP on her CSP...enjoy its new, shiny look because I hear that it scratches very easily...lol.

Thanks everyone! Yeah I'm hoping that the $6k CL on the BCP and having the Freedom for over a year with heavy usage will help me get the CSP! I'm also trying to collect a lot of UR points (planning on booking a vacation in the summer of 2014) and was also thinking of applying for the Ink Bold/Plus right after, if approved obviously, the CSP. What do you guys think about that and what would be my chances for an approval for both cards? I know my income isn't that high but maybe they would be ok with shifting some CL from the Freedom to the Ink?
