first off, thanks to KJinc and K-in-Boston for the information and words of encouragement that helped with the decision to apply for it.

saw the offer for the amex platinum card through the Coporate Advantage Program and was kind of doubtful of my approval odds since i just barely got 1 secured cap one card back in october and 1 unsecured discover it card a few weeks ago.

after reading through KJinc's previous approval thread, i decided to go for it and i was approved.

since it was through the CAP, i will get the $150 annual statement credit.

already have 4 trips coming up from february-july, plus disney world at the end of the year, i'll be definitely using this card for the travel perks.
