Approved for Barclays Apple Rewards - Hate it

So I was approved 6 weeks for Apple Rewards. My mistake I didn't read or know I had to make my purchases to get the special financing in 30 days or some stupid short window. Now I hate the card has zero value to me. I'll never put an Apple product on there when I can use my Visa Sig get 2x warranty and 1/2 the APR...So I called they won't let me do a product change but they told me to apply for the card I want and they will transfer the credit limit over. I will go for the JetBlue card or the spirit card. Any opinions ?

We can't answer that for you. Are those cards more geared towards what you want? And yeah I don't think they product change for what 6 months to a year?

Sorry I guess I more concerned that I'll waste a tri-pull and have them reject me because of a new product with them !

Honestly if it were me, I would wait. Build some good payment history with them, and then apply. But then who am I to say? I know nothing about your profile! If you don't have a LOT of new accounts opened recently, and your profile supports it, then go for it! But if I remember correctly, they like your newest account to be at least six months old. Now whether or not that applies to accounts with them, I have no idea.

I have the card.,I happened to use it right away to get my first iPad., I actually bought several through the apple refurbished card. It's not my go to card but they've been pretty generous with increases especially after making apple purchases. They've given a few increases and lower April. They were also one of the first to approve me after a credit rebuild.

You need to call them and ask for the promos.  I called and got the 18 month promo for a new laptop and this is my second promo.  It does work.

It's pretty rare for them to offer a product change before at least 6 months. You have the card already so may as well build a history with it. You don't have to use it often. Then in 6 months apply for what you want and move the limit, or see about a product change. They typically will only change apple into their basic rewards card, which may or may not be worthwhile for you.
