Approved for Capitol One Quicksilver One

I thought Cap1 hated me checked the Prequalification site and the Quicksilver one & Platinum came up, so I applied for QS1, approved for $500 0% apr till Nov 2015 & 22.9% thereafter, $39 AF. My scores are EQ- 626, EX 644, TU 650.

I have a Capitol One Union plus card for 8 months that was on Credit Steps. This card said nothing about Credit Steps, Do you think the QS1 will be credit steps? Also after I applied I checked prequal site again & only secured offer came up. Was thinking of applying for Platinum as well?

Congratulations on your QS1!

Yo won't know if you are in Credit Steps until you receive the card. In the mean time, if you want to go for the Platinum, you can always check. Keep in mind that Cap 1 checks all 3 bureaus, so if you just have to determine if 6 total inquiries for 2 cards is worth it.

Not worth the inquiries, so I'll just stick to QS1. I already have Credit One, BOA partially secured, & Cap1 Union Plus. Time to Garden.

Most Cap One cards that start at a $500 limit are credit steps. And, it's time to close your Credit One card.

Congrats, I apped for both the platinum and QS1 within a few hours of eachother and only got an inquiry for the first app. Dont know if I just got lucky or what but I was happy to see that I only got a triple pull for the first card.
