I got online this afternoon to find my accounts opened and I opted to merge them for easier maintenance. I requested a CLI online for both accounts. Was granted an $800 increase on my R2G card, bringing me to $2500. I was not granted an increase on my La-Z-Boy account. It remains at $1300. I called in to speak with the number Saeren provided and was not given much help. I was, however, told to call back after I receive the letters of denial to sort of plead my case. I'll give this a try, too.
I've carried some high balances recently, so I can understand why any lender would be nervous about extending credit. But, you never know until you try! Still happy about my 2 new accounts on 1 inquiry and the possibility of some new furniture!
