Approved for Target REDcard CC Today!

The Sl isn't much to write home about which is currently at $300, but I'm not going to complain because my overall ute is quite high and I've never had any experience w/ high credit limits other than my first Cap1 card which was $1,200.

I had no plans to app today but went into local store w/ my best friend while she shopped and at check out they asked her if she wanted to app but she was denied,

so they asked me if I wanted to give it a go and I figured " Why Not? " lol

I only have one baddie across all three credit bureaus which is a returned check for $808 which is now 1.7 years old.

My oldest account is only 2 years old and my AAoA is 8 months

All credit cards thus far are paid on time w/ no late payments. (Just a few data points for those interested)

Congratulations! I'm glad to hear about your new SL. Enjoy it and use it wisely.

BTW since your friend was trhe reason you got approved, did you put her purchase on your new card? LoL

Congrats on your approval. However, if that is your true util in your signature, you should begin working on bringing that down. You will a nice incrase in your scores.

Umm, No, No I did not. lol

She's an awesome friend, but she's one of those who likes to take her time paying me back.

Sadly, Yes, that is my true overall utilization of credit across all cards.

Congrats on your approval! I tried them a few months ago and was declined. I really don't even like Target. I'm Wally man myself.
