From what I understand (don't quote me), they like to Auto CLI those who spend near the max of their card, and PIF every month. So that they will increase your CL, to tempt you to spend higher.

ya thats what i was kinda thinkin too.. while i didn't max my card out.. my first charge was well over half my limit.. and from there i just made multiple monthly payments to keep my balance down and still charged a lot on it.. pretty much used it as my daily spender in place of my debit card ( for the points )
