31-year-old son of a dear friend. Complete and I mean 100% failure to launch. lives at home, never had a job, girlfriend or anything. has some minor income from a trust. sad to me but everyone has their own journey. I helped mom get credit a few years ago. the boy had a $ 300 credit one and a $2K WF account that he roasted with 7 late pays. Both closed. 2 amex and 1 visa AUs hang on his profile – zero of his own credit. 2 collections that I just paid off, hence his ex being 695 last night.
Looked on the ax site and he had 3 pre-approvals, the BCP looked good enough, I could downgrade it in a year to no af and it has a 250 sub to wash the current af.
I did a 25k BGR referral from my account and he was instantly approved for $16K. if I was sitting on a chair vs the couch I would have been on the floor. You want proof that amex defies all logic there you have it. hp cost him 7 points. Look at the WF image, 7 late pays and 3 of them are 90s. astounding.
