Re: BBVA AMEX approved!

You're not going to get AA for asking for the limit but if you prefer to wait in suppose.

You shoulda seen me after my Barclay's approval! After reading posts about them I was afraid even wispering the word "inquiry" would result in an AA Smiley Tongue

I called Barclays inquiring about a CLI after having the card not even a month. lol

I also added $45K in tradelines right after they gave me the card. AA away I say..it's their loss not mine. I'll just give the spend to the creditors who have more trust in their customers.

+1

I called Barclays after getting approved for the Hawiian Airlines card (literally an hour later) asking for a cli.  This after 17 new accounts this year that easily exceed 100k new credit.  I then turned around and applied for the Frontier Airlines card which they so graciously denied as I have enough credit with them.  No HP so no harm no foul.

Re: BBVA AMEX approved!

My coworker who reapplied on Tuesday after his Monday application didn't take just got email saying he was approved.   They're getting quicker

Same thing happened to me. I applied yesterday, got the "timeout!" message, and got approval email today. I called in to get SL/APR and they said they couldn't see it. Do I have to just keep trying, or..?

No way.   What's the odds?  He got the Celtics card too.  Lol lol.   It'll take a day or so before they can see limit but they don't like to tell you limit.

Re: BBVA AMEX approved!

OK, I called and a nice girl told me my limit was $1000 with 15.24%apr. I was hoping for $5000 but I am not complaining.
