I got a pre-qualified (not pre-approved) mailer for the BBVA Clearpoints VISA. I applied last Saturday (1/5) and got the "Thank you for your application for a new BBVA ClearPoints Credit Card. It's under review now, and we may need to request a few more details. If further information is needed, we'll contact you soon to discuss" message. I noticed that I didn't have a hard pull from any credit bureau and hadn't heard anything back from BBVA by Thursday so gave them a call early afternoon. The CSR contacted the originations department. She said they had all the information they needed and the next step was the credit department. Shortly after, I got a notication of an Experian hard pull & an email saying "We received your application for a new BBVA ClearPoints Credit Card. In fact, it’s under review now, but taking a little longer than usual to process." At 2:18AM, I got an email saying, "Congratulations! Your application has been approved and your new BBVA ClearPoints Credit Card is on its way." It didn't say what my limit was, so that'll be a surprise when I receive the card. :-)
Hopefully, they have decent 3% quarterly categories. I'm now at 30 credit cards now including 7 in the last 6 months, so I think I'm headed to the garden for a while :-)
My Experian profile. FICO 8 736 FICO 9 735. 17/24 inq and 8/6 inq including 1 just 2 days prior from FNBO (Driveplus Jeep credit card - declined).
Congrats on your approval! I am sure if you call them they will give you the SL unless you like surprises lol
I have this card and the catagories are pretty good, they include dining, entertainment, gas, groceries, healthcare, retail, maintenance, utilities travel and business services. I am not sure how broad the categories are though, I mainly use the retail as my 3% since i have most other things covered with other cards.
Congratulations on your approval!!!

Congrats! The ClearPoints card has a great categories. Utilities category covers home utilities (power, water, trash p/u, gas etc) , TV/phone/internet, and cell phone service. I paid my car insurance with it today and I hope it codes as bills/utilities as well. Retail is a broad category as well.
Congrats on your BBVA Clearpoints Visa approval!
Congratulations!
