yea they are weird. If you had to do the verification then you will be approved, but they will not tell you your limit or anything about the account until after you activate the card.

I hope you're right about approval. Sure didn't seem like it given the very terse replies
They were the same way with me. In like 8 to 10 days my card came in the mail with a 6k credit line, and no anual fee for the life of the card.
$6K?
Hmmm
What was your Ex, highest current card CL? I was hoping for 5 figures to compete or exceed my current cards, $13, 15, 15, 17K
Experian Fico at the time of app was 710. Highest credit limit is lowes @ 25k. Highest actual credit card is Barclay's US airways credit card at $12K and Discover at $10.5k
Thanks, I may have set my sights too high since my scores are in the same range, 701-730 depending on Ex version
I applied for the card because I seen everyone getting HUGE approvials, but it appears that they have backed off of that a bit IMO.
How long have you had the card?
I was declined back in April due to frozen Ex. Unfroze and denied again due to recent application...LOL But no HPs. Both AA letters came the same day!
A little over a month...I just made my first payment
Received card yesterday, $12K SL but, not sure about APR. 5th highest limit so, can't complain
