To everyone whining about AF: every Holiday season this card is eligible for $100 Amazon gift card for $75. All Amex cobranded cards are eligible for that deal. So it's really a $25 AF
Go Lakers!!!
Been a while but have recently started lurking here again. Got approved for 25,000. Got an Amex Platinum card last October so hope I can take advantage of backdating!

No it's not...

I wonder if this is worth even trying for with two cards almost maxed with 0% apr utilization. Pretty sure I'm going to have to recon. It's tempting because if they gave me a 5k+ limit I would just balance transfer as much as I can to this one card. I guess I have a decision to make tonight. I tried fo NASA FCU in the past but I think I tried too late.... bleh. myFICO really makes it hard to not apply for the next best card that someone finds.
If your profile doesn't support it then I wouldn't go for it. Not sure how they are with reconsiderations though. Some folks are getting in with as low as $2K and others are through the roof. Plus the APR has a pretty big spread sooooo...

Theres an approval from ohio here i think.
I'm in Ohio and BBVA pulled EX.
Wow! I got $00,000 at 0%....aka..not qualified for offer.
Residents of Utah are not qualified for the BBVA NBA Compass offer, even though the Utah Jazz card is available...go figure.

In addition to what Creditaddict mentioned above, AMEX Centurion Bank is no longer "backdating" any cards approved as of the middle of March of this year.
Well, no regrets on this one. 7-10 day message but it was expected. I just didn't want to miss out this time like I did with NASA FCU. No Orlando Magic card for me. I called the Customer Service to confirm if it was denied but they said there was no way they could confirm a denial or if they needed additional information. I didn't want to appear desperate and see if they had a credit analyst to talk to. It's probably just another inquiry on Experian which is fine.
Unfortunately, I should have waited however this gravy train is going to be gone by 2-3 weeks from where I would have been ready to apply. Still have a small rebuilder app spree to look forward to in 2-3 weeks and after that; I will be gardening for a long, long while. Hopefully farming some SP CLIs along the way. If your profile is good I would jump on the bandwagon to pad utilization even with the annual fee. With that kind of credit limit you can use it to get your other cards to increase theirs to match.
I wish others the best of luck!
