After receiving several mailers from BBVA even though Im out of their area, I decided to go ahead and app for the Clearpoints card.
30 seconds spinny wheel. Was asked if I would also open a checking account.
Selected yes (so I can easily pay the charges)

Not at all. Was just curious if you actually did do something like that, since the numbers seemed so accurate and not generalized.
I mentioned the times because I thought it might add value to others.
For example, on my recent mini spree, I received instant approvals from Navy Fed, U.S. Bank, and BBVA.
However, after receiving several mailers from BOA, and apping for the cash rewards card, they said we are sorry, but we are unable to give you a decision at this time.
We are reviewing your application and will send you a letter letting you know our decision. Blah blah blah...
If anyone out there in fico land would advise me on how to proceed, I would greatly appreciate it.
Should I call for I.D. verification, or wait for the letter?
