Re: CSP approved $5K (on 2nd recon!)

Congrats!

I'm also surprised you had to recon for this though. I found CSP to be one of their easier cards to get when you've been with them for a while.

Tradelines: Macy’s - $18k, Penfed Power Cash Rewards - $10k, Ethan Allen (TD Bank) - $5.7k, Kay Jewelers - $5.5k, Appliances Connection - $5.3k, Jared - $5.25k, Best Buy (Citi) - $5k, Dell Preferred Account - $3.5k, Samsung - $3.2k, Firestone CFNA - $3.2k, Capital One Platinum - $3k, Mercury MC - $2.25k, Williams Sonoma - $2.1k, Wayfair (Fortiva) - $2k, Amazon Store Card - $1.8k, Apple Card - $1.7k, NFCU cashRewards - $1.5k, CareCredit - $1.5k, B&H Photo - $1.5k, Adorama - $1.25k, Ebay MC - $1k, Sam’s Club MC - $1k, American Eagle - $1k, Ollo MC - $600, Mission Lane Visa - $500, NY & Company - $500, Walgreens - $500, Home Depot - $500, Target RED Card - $500, CapOne Secured MC 0 AF - $500, Penfed Overdraft LOC - $500

Current FICOS: Mid 640s-50s on all reports, Ch 7 BK D/C Aug 2019
Starting scores: EX - 534, EQ - 574, TU - 516 | Total TLs: $91k approx | Total Utilization: 17%, getting this back down

Please pass your PRG and Plat signoff offers my way, thanks.  I would go at least for the CSP and PRG now that I see this..  Amex Plat depends if you travel enough to justify it..  I would personally apply for everything the CSP/ED/PRG/PLAT take the HP's group and age them all together and not have to worry about applying till you are comfy again and enjoy your new credit and after you meet the spend requirements enjoy paris or whatever country you want to go on the CC companies signup bonus.

Those offer are some strong deals..

Ya spend would be tough for PLAT/PRG/CSP though Smiley Happy..  8k in 3 months for typical person isn't fun.   I could make it happen with my tax woes thoughSmiley Happy

@Anonymous,

Agreed... At time of the year with taxes, these deals come in real handy..

I'm thinking I'm going with the EDP credit card. 25k membership points for 2k spend is reasonable for me. The platinum and prg are charge cards which aren't currently on my radar. With this prequal, I'll take my chances with the EDP instead of the CSP (too much spend), I don't spend much...so the EDP seems perfect. Just hope I get a better limit than my freedom sitting at 1.2k

Are you going to apply like "right now" or you are going to think about it.  I mean the EDP?

APP'd for the CSP! DENIED Smiley Sad

UPDATE!

Called Recon - Approved! $5000 CL, Thanks for the support guys!

Yay!!!!!!!!! Congrats... I knew you had it in you.  So what is the revised plan now?  Are you going to let all those Amex offers go?

I'm letting them go. I've got more credit that I need now, the Amex offers are great, I wish I could pass these offers on! I'm back to the garden!

Re: CSP approved $5K (on 2nd recon!)

Thanks everyone.

Despite having to go through recon, in the end I'm happy with this card, the best limit I had till date was the Freedom with $1200, and this started at $5K, that's nearly 5x the previous limits, blows my mind if I think of it like that!

Can't wait for next week for this card to arrive, its one of those.. I've always wanted this card things. I'm happy!
