I had it ready to go just in case and I was able to share immediately via their secure message email platform. I had no trouble verifying what I told them so I assume we will be g2g in the morning. I was approved for membership this past Friday and apped for the low rate Visa on Tuesday. Instant approval for $7500!
Data Points
- I am not in their area, but donated $20 to join Northwest Credit Union Foundation.
- I apped for membership Friday afternoon and received approval and account credentials Saturday morning.
- No hard pull for membership. I don't know at this point, but I assume there may have been a softpull.
- 23 Inquiries on TU over the past 24 months (a good portion due to 3 vehicle purchases). Even crazier, they were inq number 7 in a 3 day period. (again a couple for a truck purchase). Inquiries divided fairly evenly into 6 month mini sprees
- MyFico TU8 was 706 at the time of app. Approximately 15% utilization. 14.5 years at same employer and 144k verifiable salary.
- Instant approval. Docusign online.
- I have not received any requests to prove income, eligibility, or otherwise. Will update if something comes up.
Good experience so far. They don't seem nearly as difficult or slow as some posts I've read from the past. Hopefully this is the new BECU.
