BECU UW Cash Visa -- $20,000!!!

So I decided last week I was going to simmer down and let some of these new cards age up a bit, but forgot I had put in a membership application with BECU after reading @Jnbmom posts - Thank You for sharing! Membership approval came back so figured, well I'm committed now so might as well go for it I applied for their UW Cashback Visa 

UW Cashback Visa

• SL: $20,000
• APR: IDK
• New Accts < 6Mo = 4 (recent Apple, Macys and Nordys not posted)
• EQ Inquiries < 6Mo = 6
• CRA: EQ F8 768 - I read this would be a TU puller but they definitely pulled my EQ instead 
• Total Limits now $645,400
• App: 24hr message, took 23 hours to update to an approval
• SUB: None

I did check it a few minutes after applying but did not have the approval. I waited an hour and then several hours - same message. My high activity triggered something and I think it went for an actual manual review. Other than that it was very painless. Now I'm seriously off to the garden and update my siggy again lol

Congrats on the approval!  Now just get ready for their security / fraud dept.  As long as you have some patience you will get through it all and the card will be yours.  Expect to be most likely locked out within a day or so though.  I will go for BECU when my CHEX's has had a cooling down period.  Nice limit and apr!

Wow congrats!!! I too got approved last week but with a lower limit, I tried for a CLI but got shut down lol I’ll wait a few months.

Btw if you call in ask to speak to the credit department they will offer you a LOC and will use the same hard pull they used. If you got approved for 20k on the card I’m sure they’ll give you 10k for the LOC if not they’ll counter offer it like they did with me.

Oh dear...that is going to mess with your signature isn't it? Perhaps would be a good time to get rid of that BB&T card so that this one fits in 

It absolutely amazes me that financial institutions will approve people with this many cards/limits.
