Yay!! Im so excited! After a really crappy doctors appointment at the crack of dawn and still bruised from my amex decline i figured i would see if i would get approved for a card i am so desperatey trying to get paid off. I call up customer service for BOA (because i am annoying) and asked her about my chances of approval and she was no help but at least she tried. So it felt like the longest time ever waiting for a big fate no when I see CONGRATULATIONS< you are approved!!!  am so happy they gave me a chance because i have literally been driving my fiancee crazy talking about credit repair and feels great to see my hard work appreciated. On the bad note I need to transfer 1400 and they gave me a $500 limit How are they on increasing the limits?

They are fantastic once you've shown a payment history and your scores have improved.

I opened a secured card in Nov 2014 for $300

Made it $1000 in December 2014

Unsecured in Sept 2015.

Limit is now $5,000 as of Feb 2016, in August 2016, I expect it to be $15,000 and the data shows that's probably likely.

So, you most likely won't be transferring that $1,400 today, but long term, it'll grow.

OMG i know i have heard that they are amazing to work with and a great bank to be in with. I will transfer a small limit for now and set it for autopay so i never forget. Have been treating my credit like a newborn baby for the past year. Oh and fyi i was too lazy to change my outdated fico score in my siggy but for a data point my Experian is sitting at 645.

Thank you I am soooo happy!!! Even if thy dont increase it i will be very happy either way. I have heard their cards get really large limits that hopefully after time of proving myself i can upgrade to a card with rewards

I dont mind the hard pull my TU isnt too far from my Experian report and it will benefit my balancetransfer. But in the chance they say no I will understand. A year ago I couldnt even get a supermarket shoppers card now i have 7 new cc's! Have had 100% payment and my utilization is at 26%. Going in the garden until a year.

Thank you! Do you think if I apply for their BBR card it will count for the same hard pull. I signed up for the Bank Americans for the 18 month balance transfer but I saw the BBR CARD gives you 25 bucks a quarter for on time payments and I have an account with them so I would qualify for an additional bonus

Congrats.... I'm jealous, BOA hates me.  I apped for them when I was early in my rebuild and they turned be down twice.  I apped one more time and they turned me down again.  I will not waste anymore HP with them.  But never the less i'm still jealous and happy for you
