I called BOA prior to second app to confirm a network change could be requested upon receipt. Rep confirmed it was possible and was ready to put in the request during that call. As soon as I hung up I applied for the 2nd card and it was also an instant approval! BOA Rocks!
No current relationship with BOA prior to app. Had a Working Assets back in 2008 that I closed one year later after paying off balance transfer. Also was talked into a companion card, WorldPoints Platinum Plus, that I opened/closed 4/2009 just after receipt because I misunderstood the terms (Sales were aggressive back then!). Both cards were closed within a week of each other.
Hope this gives someone sitting on the fence the confidence needed to take the jump if warranted.
