Back in with Amex!!!

I decided to try to app for an Amex today after continuously being deneid due to adverse relationship history.  I burned them for about $7k about 8.5 years ago.  I got approved for a $5K Blue Cash Everyday!!   

Now I have to reach out to my Corp Card team at work and try to get a Corp Card.

That’s an awesome comeback story; getting back in with Amex after an 8.5-year burn is no small feat, especially with a $5K starting limit on the Blue Cash Everyday. Good luck with the Corp Card request...

i never filed bankruptcy or burned Amex and I only got 1k on my BCP, so like others have said. 5k is an awesome starting limit for you

Now Mark your calendar, amex will consider a cli after 91 days. They're known to go 3X. They only shut me down at 45% reported income.

I burned them for about 400 almost 10 years ago and cant get anything approved LMAO 

@JStapel  congrats to you my friend!!!! Eventually I hope theyll forgive and forget. Although I did PIF everything so maybe they didnt make much money off me to begin with lol.
