Bank of America Secured Card - Unsecured but no CLI

I have a B of A Secured Card with a $1500 CL.  I just passed by 6th statement cut and my TU08 Fico is 718.  The only baddies on my TU Report are three judgements (1 Paid 2 unpaid) from mid 2008.  I have a SDFCU secured card with 5k CL, a USAA Card with 5K and a Barclay Arrival+ at 3500 CL. my annual income is $93k.

I called the secured card Credit Analyst this morning and requested the card be unsecured with a HP.  The anayst approved the unsecuring of the card but would not even a discuss a CLI so he left the card at 1500 CL.

I was happy about card being unsecured but disappointed with the lack of a CLI based on my score, income, other CLs, TU Report and the card's 6 month history and discussions here.

Should I wait a day and recon with another Credit Analyst, if so should I call the seccured card anaylst or the "regular" analyst?.

Why wait? Call another regular analyst now and ask them to please use same hp done today and reconsider cli.

Regular analyst is the way to go.

And congrats on unsecuring at 6 months. More proof you don't have to wait 9, 12 months. My 6th month is next month. Can't wait!

Thanks for the info,  I went ahead and called the regular credit analyst per the sugestions here and she increased the CL to $3700.

Awesome!  BofA is by far the best secured card you can have, they work with you and unsecure relatively early. Mine wasn't until my 9th or 10th statement but it was definitely quick. They didn't do a HP for unsecuring it for me but they did when I requested a CLI, totally worth it btw! Also, not sure if you just had the regular secured version or one of their Rewards cards, if you have the regular plain visa you should get it PC'D to a Rewards card, they will do it without a HP.
