Barclays reward approval

Okay, so , 5 days ago was turned down flat for any of their cards. Too much caffeine led me to apply tonight and was approved    Are they the kind of company that allows you to go two for two or should I count my blessings?  Should I re con the Arrival that was declined or is that card in a different tier group.

Thanks for ny and all responses.

Re: Barclays reward approval

Thanks all. I would definitely be willing to allocate some from the rewards to the arrival but the limit is too low.  Its actually lower than my lowest store card.

When I got the decline letter for the Arrival, my TU score was 711. Is that too low fo the Arrival?  Maybe. Thanks again.

Re: Barclays reward approval

congrats but hopefully you don't regreat getting this card like i do at the moment. this whole waiting 7-10 days after you make a payment on the card for the funds to be available is stupid. iim no longer using this card, i am just going to use the new discover card i got approved for and make the minimum monthly payments on the baryclay card for the next 12 months until i get my tax refund check then pay them off and toss it in the sock drawer.  i made a 700 dollar payment last friday the 13th and they are telling me i have to wait till the 24th for the funds to be available.
