A few months ago I closed my Best Buy card (right after Citi purchased them). I was stuck at a $500 limit and it just wasn't worth it for the purchases I make at BB. I decided today to purchase a Wii U, and they showed the BB card with 10% back in rewards or 6 months 0% (I really missed the 0% offers on purchases from my other card) so I thought well I already have a ton of INQ's so I better not even bother. That and the fact that Citi declines me for their cards each and every time. Against my better judgement I clicked submit...I got a white screen with a huge "unfortunatly" across the screen but nothing else, figured declined.
I refreshed the page and said my app was not submitted and the page timed out. I thought maybe its a sign I shouldnt app but again I decided to try again...*processing please wait*...CONGRATS YOU'VE BEEN APPROVED!! Really? I honestly couldnt belive it, and my limit? $2000 which was very surprising, was dreading getting $500 again! Needless to say I'm a happy camper today ![]()
Nice! Congrats!
Grats on your BBY card ![]()

The My Best Buy MasterCard is the one you can use anywhere, with the annual fee. If it's the store card, there is no annual fee but can only be used at Best Buy.
edit: Congrats, by the way! They shot me down even though I'd been working for the company for a year/
Congrats!

I used to have the Mastercard with $59 annual fee, now i have the store card with no AF so Ill take that!
Don't feel bad I tried getting an Amazon store card, and got declined for not having enough premium cards, yet Citibank gives me the BB store card instant approval for $2000. Nothing about these creditors makes sense thats for sure.
Congrats
