I have this card too and sitting at 4k CL for long time. Just don't want to have a HP for CLI. I think having this card actually helped me to get back to citi mainstream cards

I hear you. I didn't want to go for a hard pull in the past either, but I had 2 large charges coming up and currently have a promo 0% APR they threw at me through the end of the year!
