Congratulations!
I can't get them to budge from $1K. They have an 18 month 0% balance transfer offer that I would LOVE to use, but $1K won't do a thing.

Thank you, securing, I appreciate it!
How old is your card? I know they can be frustrating. I can't tell you any sage advice as far as using the card a lot or making large payments- because my usage was only $5-$15 per month and I paid in full. BoA is unfortunately a little weird.
Keep trying and I hope it works out for you! Others seem to have reported more movement on the card as it gets to be a year old or a bit older. ![]()

Here's a question... I have the CLI button available on all 3 of my BofA cards. Would hitting the button multiple times on each card still only be 1 pull, or would it be 3 pulls?
It will be one credit pull.
I did it once a while ago on all my 3 cards in a gap of few minutes and it resulted in one pull on TU.
My trigger finger's gettin' itchy!
I'd encourage you to stay in the garden unless you really need the CLI. I don't want to encourage people who have been making good gardening progress to interrupt that progress!
Well, I probably don't *need* it, though I do have some credit limit goals I'm aiming for.
Because of how my student loan debt repayment is structured, the interest will likely outpace my payments until the loans are wiped out (thank you, public service loan forgiveness!). While that eventual forgiveness is a great thing, it also kind of keeps a ceiling on my credit score until the forgiveness because of how large the loans are relative to my income. So I'm seeing less and less positive effects from gardening (AAoA is still good, utilization is low, but scores are pretty stagnant).
I've thought about buying a house, which would necessitate gardening for a mortgage, but I think I'm content to rent for a good while longer as my place is very cheap.
I'll still think it over a bit longer before I decide whether I want to take this HP or not... but 1 HP for possibly 6 or more CLIs (and I can talk to a credit analyst to move lines around as I see fit with the same HP) sounds like a pretty good deal.
Georgia - OT and down the road a bit, but remember that there will be a big tax burden from the loan forgiveness. Something to plan for going forward. ![]()

For Public Service Loan Forgiveness, the forgiven amount is not taxed. Now, if I was working in the private sector and had my loans forgiven after 25 years, the tax bill would kill me!
Fantastic humu, congrats on your success..
