After applying for BoFA card this is response I received: We wanted to let you know that we've received your application for the BankAmericard® Visa® Card. We're currently reviewing your information and will notify you of our decision by mail.(30 days )

Question: If I call them for result of app will it be a hard pull?

Well with BOA everything results in a hard pull. Simply moving pre-existing credit limits between accounts does. If you happen to call the backdoor number they will start you off asking questions to pull your report. So yes, if you reach them you will get your report pulled. However the automated call to check app status, or better yet check it online does not in and of itself generate a hard pull.

Some good news. I highly doubt it will take BOA 30 days to send you a decision in the mail.

Unless that's a play on words from another post you made recently about CL reallocations with BoA, not everything results in HP.  Any PCs or auto-CLIs are not HPs, there are instances where BoA offers pre-approved CLIs that do not result in HPs.

I got the same mesage after my online application. You said you checked online a few days later and saw you were approved. How did you do that? Where does one look?

Capital One Classic $750 / Fingerhut $1750 / Walmart $1000 / Discover $4500 / Capital One Quicksilver $3000 / Barclays $1500 / Amazon Visa $1000 / Amazon Store $900
