Thanks all... Worth hitting the increase button again since still there anyone?  Same HP?  Also best way to get it upgraded to Siggy regular CSR or UW?  Sure someone has played with it Smiley Happy

The automated system is only going to allow one CLI per pull; you'll see the link will disappear within a couple days. If you want more out of the pull you can call and try to recon with a person, but given your initial small limit, I think the bump you got is pretty good and probably won't be able to get much more with such a new account.

There's no need to call underwriting to get to a Visa Signature upgrade. Realistically, they have nothing to do with that. Customer service will do just fine.

Ya honestly 5.5k for the card is plenty don't really need more as trying to shed some credit limits and some of my less desired cards.  Will be dropping my Amex Platinum in about a week priror to AF hitting again, killing of a few other cards  such as probably paypal and best buy in the next few weeks month as well as I try to keep my total CL as not a huge level as if I ever want new accounts in the future I don't want to have to much available credit.. With that said for any card to really be useful to me they must have a 5k CL or they wlll be chopped.. Really only one card with under 5k in profile now and that is Discover, but I know that will be around 5k in a year depending what kinda CLI they decide to give me every 91 or 61 days or whatever..

Congrats CC!  BoA is one creditor I don't have anything from.  Keep getting offers in the mail so maybe I'll have to add one in near future

You definitely should.  I'm not sure why BoA isn't raved about more; credit limits grow (albeit with a HP, which is not unfair by any means), they do APR reductions, and I personally think they have a great collection of offerings.

Awesome! I love my BofA card, it grew to a huge limit in under a year.

When I called about converting it to a signature visa, it appeared to be a regular CS agent.

@Anonymous since I was out of the garden with NFCU recent approval I noticed my 3 month old BofA CC CLI became available and my TU was set to freeze back up at the end of month.  So I figured why not..  This card was a reconned denial and after recon they gave me a small 1k limit @ 18.x Apr I believe.  Anyways asked for $7500 and came back with instant $5500 approval.  Weird thing is the button is still there.. Can you wack it again and get a bit more possibly with the same TU HP?  Also I assume I can call them and get it changed to a Visa Signature if so do you call regular CS or need to call underwritting?  Thanks in advance.. So not bad 4500 increase in 3 months from an initial denial..  When approved they pulled Exp 709.for initial denial/1k CL.  Now Discover 3 month is coming up in a few more weeks, hopefully they will shine as well and get off that stupid 1k limit they gave meSmiley Happy.

CC, outstanding job and congratulations! Well done. Smiley Happy

I followed the same steps you did thanks to you posting your experience here ( thank you!) and received the same result, in two steps. Will be posting later. Your excellent advice always has some great trickle-down effects and really helps others. Smiley Happy
