I recently started a new job and have some planned spend coming up, so I thought now would be a good time to app for a new card with a nice SUB. I decided to app for the BofA Premium Rewards with the elevated 60,000 point SUB and the 2.62% back on everything with Preferred Rewards. With my current setup, I didn't have a good catch-all card. I applied on Sunday and did not receive an instant decision. This morning (Tuesday), I got a call from BofA for identity verification and then it was sent back to the credit department. I checked my online banking this afternoon and found this:
I was approved with a $33,000 SL! 
This is over TWICE my highest limit card that has a $15,000 limit! This approval also brings my TCL over $100K!
DPs:
- EX pull: 761 FICO 8
- 0/12 new accounts
- Reported income: $40K (seriously!)
- 12 year banking relationship with BofA (checking, savings, CCR)
- Last app: May 2022 (CSP)
This was worth the Emerald Spade I just traded in and this approval greatly exceeded my expectations. I would not have expected to have a SL and TCL this high at this point in my credit journey. Back to the garden I go until I am ready for the next one!

Makes me hopefull that they will be generous with me now that I've been cooling my jets for a year.
I had 12 or 13 new accounts in 2022, and had bad credit before that, so until last month, they wouldn't even give me a CLI on the $5k limit CCR card I've had since 2013, even though I've been banking with them for 17 years, and Platinum Honors for over a year.😥
