As I've only received small increases from the app, I called in this time and...Denied!

I asked to be transferred to the reconsideration line. After again processing my request, it was...denied! Again. When I asked her what she thought it was about my profile and accounts that was causing this she rather blithely replied that it was because my TU report was frozen.

Duh!

I completelty forgot that I had frozen TU because of that thing in the place with the guy. So I unfroze the report with her still on the line, she sends it through again and...Approved for a $5.5K increase.

Don't know if this is a true DP or just an anecdote, but [1] Chase soft-pulls TU for CLIs [though they have always pulled EX for me for new accounts] and [2] calling in gives better results than using the app.
