Bread Rewards AMEX Approval...with a SP only...maybe???

Congratulations @cynicaldragon83 on your approval! Normally I'd suggest freezing your reports at this point to prevent a delayed HP and you might want to do that anyway, even though it's been a couple of days. (It seems like a good idea to keep them frozen when you don't need to apply for credit.)

My Bread card started with a $5K SL and now has a CL of $9.5K. I requested and got an instant $1K CLI  right after I activated it, and all of the CLIs have been soft pulls so far. From my experience you might be eligible for a CLI every 4 months.

My new card arrived today and still no hard pull. I also missed that it had a $200 SUB with $1k spend, I'll take it.

Nice! I had forgotten that this is a different card than the original Bread Cashback, with a SUB. I believe it used to be invite-only but it looks like anyone can apply or check for pre-qualification now.

I thought I saw the SUB offer yesterday when I posted, but I'm not seeing it today on the Bread Rewards page, or in the terms and conditions. I wouldn't count on it being there.

The card was originally invite-only, but no longer is. That might have something to do with the disappearing SUB, but that's just speculation.

Edit: I did some more research and found a Reddit thread that mentioned the SUB expiring 12/27/23, and a question on Avvo  from a customer who didn't apply a promo code for a Bread card and missed getting their SUB. Perhaps this SUB is targeted and/or requires a code. (I did a search for a promo code and didn't find one, but I didn't spend a lot of time on it.)
