you'll probably receive an email about credit steps program, which will increase your credit limit by 6th statement or something

Congrats on the approval. Got the same one with same limit - I did get the email about credit steps enrollment, so I expect as my other Cap1 PlatinumMC it will bump to $500 at the 6 month mark, hope yours does too!

Treat it right and it'll definitely grow with you. You may have to nudge it via the EO, but it will grow.

In looking through me email, I apped and was approved on 6/4 or 6/5, recieved the email about credit steps program on 6/19, so it was a week or so I guess.

Hey mega congrats!  It's so exciting when you feel like you've finally made it to the bigs.    FWIW I too did the credit steps program.  Started at $500.  1 year later I'm at $4,000.  So yes everyone is right - treat it well and you'll probably see some good bumps.  I used it a ton in the first year, paid it off some months, carried a balance others so while I don't know what the rhyme or reason behind it is, its nice to know that you can still get good improvement even w/out PIF each month.

Congrats! Youre in the credi steps program, so in 6 months youll definitely see an auto CLI
