So I finally closed on my first house a few days ago and decided it was time to try my luck with a new card. I have a car leased through Chase, and noticed some time back that I had several card offers when I logged in to my account. I applied this morning for the FU and received an instant approval with a SL of 4.5k! Wooo! FICO scores are 660-675, 2 cap1 cards with small limits, 2% util, several charge offs and collections from 5 years ago(all PIF), a few inquiries across the board, solid payment history with Chase for 1 full year on my lease, solid payment history for 1.5 years on wife's auto loan. I figured I would be denied, or at best...Given a "we'll let you know our decision in 6-10 business months" message. I was totally stoked when I got the approval!
im sure glad you didnt have to wait the " 6 -10 business months" for your decision
