Congrats on the upgrade @heavylifter! When you can get in good with Citi they’ll treat you right. Their service is a bit meh depending on the cards you have but always good to be in with the big boys. Keep at it and you’ll see It grow

Re: CITI SECURED CARD GRADUATION

Thats awesome OP! I had their secured card as well a few years ago, and I was too impatient to "wait it out", and closed it.
Congrats to you on the CLI and graduation! Always a good feeling knowing you're doing something right with your creditSmiley Happy

Re: CITI SECURED CARD GRADUATION

Yea @Pizza1 I have seen DP for this card all over the map from 8 month graduating to another 18 months extended so I think they are kinda picky on how and who the graduate and issue the card to.. I received my letter on the 10th month so right in the middle of most of the Data I have seen.. gonna PC it to a Costco visa today or tomorrow... I’m saving my 5th CC HP for a Chase FU offer I got in the mail this month.. it’s a 4% CB SUB so I’m hoping .... I know Chase likes to see at min a years history so my Citi & Cap1 QS report on the 17-22 respectively then I will app the Chase offer and have a solid rewards base to garden with ...

Re: CITI SECURED CARD GRADUATION

Well Citi just hit my Experian with a HP I guess I should get a counter offer soon ..🤞 was hoping for a SP but I guess it has been a year since they did a HP .. hope this won’t affect my 5/24 next month for my final app with chase 😮

Re: CITI SECURED CARD GRADUATION

The inquiry should have no impact on your Chase app. The rule is “you can’t have opened up 5 or more credit cards in the last 24 months”. So if you have 10 inquiries, but only 3 resulted in new accounts, then you’re 3/24 and good to go. We’re rooting for ya!
