I figured that since I was doing really well with keeping my FICO scores in the 720+ range for over a year now that I should be getting more CLIs than I have. So yesterday I went online and looked for CLI links on my cards’ websites. I was able to get increases from 4.5K to 6K on my Citi Double Cash and an increase from 2K to 5K on my AmEx BCE. I like CLIs no because I plan to run up high unmanageable bills but because it helps keep my utilization percentages lower. Capital One a few months ago upgraded me on QS1 to QS and bumped my credit up 1K unasked from 2750 to 3750. I asked for an increase yesterday to a maximum of 7.5K and was declined...they said I had had an increase with them too recently. But all in all I am thrilled as I continue on a journey to great credit options. And not one hard pill was made on my credit reports!
